Scouts from Cub Scout Packs 417 & 519 and Boy Scout Troop 417 took part in a local community service project at the Jacksonville Arboretum on Saturday, October 18.  Over 100 family members and friends attended to help get the new park ready to open. Altogether the team put in approximately 600 hours of community service.  Projects included clearing and marking trails, landscaping, building a bridge and
removing debris from the roadside entrance way.
